There was an upset when higher ranked DutchDen Bosch (17-11) was edged on the road by twelfth ranked Belgian Leuven Bears (13-16) 88-85 on Thursday. Leuven had a 16-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. American swingman Tytan Anderson (198-2002, college: UNI) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds for the winners and his fellow American import guard James Blackmon Jr (193-1995, college: Indiana) chipped in 27 points (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line). Leuven Bears' coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Canadian guard Keevan Veinot (193-1998, college: Dalhousie) responded with 22 points and 6 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and Irish guard Sean Flood (188-1996, college: Longwood) scored 20 points and 4 assists. Leuven maintains twelfth place with 13-16 record. Defending Dutch champion Den Bosch dropped to the sixth position with 11 games lost.
